“People interested in owning Dubai Police NFTs can participate in the Dubai Police campaign with a repost, share and provide necessary information for registration of interest. The step is in line with the government’s growing interest in virtual assets and contributes to attracting those interested in the modern digital trend,” Brig Al Razooqi said in a statement.

“Dubai Police is the first government entity in the UAE and the first police department in the world to create its own digital assets. NFT is a unit of data stored on a type of digital ledger called a blockchain, and every NFT is a unique copy in itself, containing complete information about the date of creation and ownership,” he said. “The NFT documented on a blockchain cannot be falsified or copied at all.”

Brig Al Razooqi said the NFTs created by Dubai Police symbolise three main values: Innovation, security, and communication. They also differ from one another in design and implementation. “People interested to have the tokens can share the announcement of Dubai Police Value NFT post with their friends and send a direct message with their names, emails and NFT wallet addresses to Dubai Police accounts on social media platforms,” he explained.

The announcement will be available on Dubai Police channels across social media platforms. “Register your interest to be among the first to own Dubai Police’s free NFTs,” he added.
